The Blogger Class

I think that the Blogger Class is really fun, we did lots of fun things, I improved a lot in writting and how to express my self. Also, Ms. Cristina is a very good teacher and knows how to explain what we have to do and many other things. Even thaw this class is amazing it can improve in some things, like giving more free topics so we can write what ever we want. I think that in the year 2008-2009 when we are in seventh grade this class will be very succesful.

My Summer Vacations

On my summer vacations Iam going to do only two things. One will be go to a camp called portonaito. This is a very cool camp, well that is what they have say to me. You can drive cayak, go to do snorkling or things like that. This is in the islands of baru and it is 15 days. You do lots of fun activities and entretainment. There will be lots of experts taking care of you and teaching you how to do things. The other thing I will do is hang out with friends, like going to the club cartagena, go skating, go to mc donalds, or to the pool. Well, the only thing I know is that I will love my vacations how ever they are because the vacations means no homework or school!!!!!

6th Grade

Six Grade is a very fun and cool grade. One of my favorites, if I can say. Also, I like a lot all my teachers they are really nice and caring. We also have a couple of new clases, as fun elective, acedemis elective, etica and so on. One of the new clases I most like is academic elective, this class consist in that different teachers say to the students a new class they are making and then each student picks on which class they want to go, and yo will have a grade in this. Fun elective is kind of the same you do fun things you want to do but in this one you do not get a grade, but it can bring down your behaivior if your teacher decides. Other new thing in six grade is that we have final exams and mid terms. The final exams is an exam at the end of the year about all we have learned and the mid term is at the helf of the year.
I think seventh grade will be as cool as six grade it may have the same kinds of classes, but obiosly other teachers. On Seven Grade things may change a little bit but not as much. I espet to be more difficult because is a higher grade but nothing impossible.

Chocolate

Chocolate is my favorite kind of candy because is sweet. I like chocolate because you can eat with lots of things, as bread, waffles and milk and so on. There are different types of chocolate there is milk chocolate, dark chocolate. Also, some people say that chocolate brings down your cholesterol but it has a lot of sweet. Even thow I really like chocolate.

Without chocolate I think I would not survive. I think chocolate makes a big part in my life, I really love it. The proble is that my mom does not led me eat so much because she thinks that it makes you really fat. Chocolate is so important that some where in the world I do not remembre where there is a park made of chocolate.

Homework

Today I read an article about homework. This article was by a 14 year girl named Helen Shang. This article talks about how homework affects teens. I support what this article says because I think is true, homework is good, because is practice but to much homework affects in a negative way, because it does not led teens get a good sleep or get time to theirs selfs. It also make teenagers have much more stress and the only way to stress out for teens is hang out, relax go shopping, but they can not go because they have homework. Sometimes I have a party, but guess what I could not go because I had more than six homework for the next day, at the next day when I went to school I find out that only 3 persons could go to that party and that my friend cried because almost no body went.

I think this article has all the reason. Techears send us homework because they want us to improve but they are make it worst because if we do not have enough sleep we would concentrate in class. Teens are also loosing time with their family and I think that should make mad there parents. I think teachers and parents need to read this article so they realize that homework in excess makes bad. Also on Breaks of long time teachers get worried because they think we may forget something so they send us homework during vacations, I mean please. Does the Internet Bring us Closer or Drives Us Apart

Today I read an article by a girl called Ashley Dinh that has 16 years old. This article has all my support because I think that what it says is true. Usually we sit in front of the computer screen chating, on facebook, or on my space, and we just start saying things that we really don't know how the person we are saing to will take it.Also, the things we say could be true or false and the person we are saying it to will never know because they will not be able to hear our voice or see our face. That takes us time away, time that can be used for more important things such as sports, or homework. On the Internet dangerous people can start talking to you and you will never notice, thay could gather enough information about you to kill you or kidnap you.

This article is based on how internet affects our lives. Maybe you haven't notice it, thats why its important to read it. If you ask me, I think this article made me realize that msn has a bad influence in me, yes I have stayed talking in msn so much time that when I noticed, at 10 o clock, I have not finished any of my homework or even going out to skate and socialize. Also, sometimes people tell me who they like but then at school they say me that they did not connect that day, that they dond't like that person, and what happens is that someone connected on others person messenger and started saing lies. Parent Teachers Conference

On the past quater I think I did really well. I improved some subjects but others went down either a one or two percent. For example on spanish I had a 95 percent but the last quarter I improved it to a 99.6 percent, almost a one hundred, but on other classes such as sociales I went from a 98 percent to a 96 percent. I think I improved in some classes because I put more effort into it, but on others I got distracted very easly, wich is not good. My plan to improve in classes that I went down such as sociales is to try not to talk so much and to get more interested on what the lesson is, that was what I did on the subjects I improved. Some rewards of good grades could be honor roll, excellent eagle, and we can not forget you may get eximed from the final exam!!!

My Favorite Websites

One of my favorite websites is facebook. Its something similar to messenger but you can do graffiti send gift and things like that. You decide wich friend you want or not want to have but if they dont request to you, you will need to send a request to them. You also will have a inbox kind of cool or no??? The imbox messeges are private but the wall post, that one can be seen by everyone. The main idea is to have people you know like old friends, family that lives on the other side of the world, so you can send each other videos, pictures and talk to each other. My second favotite web site is google. This website is real fun and useful because you can find easli information. I really like it when doing essays or reports. I also use it also when looking for lycrics. For example if I want the lycrics of under my umbrella y will put the name and then click on search and you will have lots of options. My third favorite web site is you tube. You can use it to see videos or songs. You also can upload videos and songs but first you got to make yourself an account. I use it a lot to find also information or gossips. When I am with my friends we usaully se videos of people dancing and laugh of them, sometimes. Middle School Life

Hi!!! welcome again to my blogs!! Today I am going to talk about my life in middle school. Well at the beggining of the year it was a bit more difficult than elemntary, and is difficult to get used to it. Its also way more strict with the behaving and uniform rules. I never imagine that middle school was going to be eaier when you get used to it. Well teachers are kind of the same but they put more HW and more exams. You also will have a par of new classes but all of them are really cool. The break is more short. But you may have a rest time between the first and second class wich is real cool because you get to talk with your friends. In Middle school you also get to use lockers, I think is easier than having all the book in your desk, but still it is a bit more boring because if you forget something in your locker you will not have permission to go and take it. But don't worry because you will get use to it.

What I like about Middle School is that you get to be more independent, the teachers will not be always rembering you to do the homework. I really like a lot being independent its like standing in your own feet, its kind of cool if you get to think it. But what I dont like is that you may get punished for a little thing. Its kind of weird because because you are not used in elemtary to get punished for things like that. If you ask me its true Middle School is more difficult but it is a part of life that you got to go through.

Colegio Jorge Washington-My School

Hi again!!! today Iam taking some time to talk you about my school. My school as you can see in the title is name Colegio Jorge Washington but we call it cojowa. Can you figure why?? Well at my school they are 12 grades right know Iam in 6th grade. The teachers are very nice they treat you with respect and hear your opinions. My school is not so big it has about 600 students but it offers lots of things. One of those is that we have remidials after school some are obligatory if you have bad grades but others are only if you want. My school has a soccer field and a basketball also and so on. My school is infront of the beaches is really astonishing. What I like about my school is that is that they hear what you want and feel. They offer you the subjst of math, science, social studys, sociales, spanish, etc. After school their also are extra curiculars of futball, volleyball, basketball, and so on. My school also gives you the opportunity to be in Destination Imagination, ATM, VIP, this are some of the programs that are for good students. In not so much time well I hope, this school will be much bigger. It will have a pool, a much bigger soccer field, the class rooms will be much better. I really can't wait for this new school. Our uniforms are a withe shirt with a dark blue skirt. I really like it bacause Cartagena is very schorching and the uniforms are good for the climate. I love my school, thair teachers and is in it. Hi!!! welcome to my blogs!! my name is Camila. In this blog you will get to know me and my interests. Like for example I love soccer, at school I play it at recces. On my free time I go skating, what can I say I like sports. I really like to wear accesories, and more when I am with friends. When I hang out with my friends we usually see movies or go to Mc Donalds. At school Iam a very good student, my worst grade was a A-, no Iam just kidding I got a B+ as worst grade. I dont have any pets at all but I will like one, maybe a dog or something like that. In conclusion I like having fun but still I think about school and sports.

I also have an extraordinary family, and I have lots of fun with them. Like with my brother I fight with him and all but I still play with him (you know even if I don't want to). My granpa he also likes sports sometimes he skates with me. My grandma, oh she cooks better than a proffecional chef. My father is a good worker, he is almost always working, while my mom help us with school work. I really love my family, they are real special to me.
